Buffet...Yay or Nay

Buffet style or formal dining? When you have a large gathering which do you prefer? Personally, I love buffet style. Guests are free to enjoy the food and serve themselves as they desire. I LOVE this time of year!! You may even hear me say, "It's the most wonderful time of the year" more than once!

It's Friday!

Are you still full from yesterday? I hope Thanksgiving was everything you hoped and planned it to be! If you are a black Friday shopper you are probably back home, in bed and napping about now. If you are a cyber black Friday shopper, you probably are still in your pajamas sipping some hot cocoa or egg nog. In the past I have gone out when I wake up and the great deals are all but gone. And that is fine. We are blessed and don't need much. It's just fun to be out and about with humanity. Rest up! The major fun is about to begin. This is what I'm doing today!!

I am thankful for: 15. My clients 16. My Business 17. My husbands smile 18. Grandkids laughter 19. Technology 20. Aging 21. Health 22. Forever friends

Happy Friday! How are your Thanksgiving plans going? Remember to keep things in perspective. Focus on what you are thankful for and less time and energy on the things that don't matter.

Whether your table is set for a dinner party or a casual meal with family, add something of sentimental value to the table. It tells a story and makes any meal special.

I am thankful for: 8.The comfort of home 12. Clothing 9. Flowers 13. A car 10.The blessing of nourishment 14. My business 11.The beauty of Nature

A grateful country

Today is Veterans Day. I am grateful to all those that have served our nation and kept us safe. You have the gratitude of our country. God bless you and God bless America.

This is such a magical time of year! Filled with family, friends and traditions. At one point we began to feel overwhelmed with "traditions". We gathered the immediate family and discussed what traditions should stay and which ones could go. It was wonderful!! Some of the things I thought the kids would miss, they were agreeable to letting go of. In the end, the traditions that we have are the ones that are of meaning to our family. What traditions do you have? What could you let go of? Are there things you would like to add? Sit down with your family and discuss it. You just might be surprised!

I am thankful for 3. Freedom 4. Police 5. Doctor's 6. Nurse's 7. Service Men and Women

You are invited...

It's that time of year! Family, friends and fun! That means focusing on entertaining. Does the thought stop you in your tracks? I don't have: the right dishes enough space the right house enough money I don't know: how to decorate correctly who to invite if they should bring food when is the best time for a party what if they don't have fun Well, relax. Generally people are more excited to spent time together, than they are concerned about all that other stuff! That is not what they remember. They remember the experience. Make it simple; simple food, decorations and just have fun! Let me know how it goes.

Welcome November

I can not believe that is it November! I do not know where this year has gone. So much has happened to be thankful for and I am! So in this month of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for? 1. My faith 2.My family
