I hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends. As we look towards the new year, what is your goal or focus for 2018? Maybe its just getting the Christmas decorations put away! Whatever it is, take some time to think about how you want 2018 to be different. I prefer goals over resolutions. For whatever reason goals seem to last longer.

Ten days and counting! Are you ready? We are having a 18 people over for appetizers and desserts tonight, then a caroling party next Friday night. We love to have friends and family over and enjoy food, laughter and fun! What are your holiday traditions? Let's agree to not get overwhelmed and focus on what is important. Christmas is a time of memories, traditions and family and friends. Decorating for the season is joyous as we recall the fun of seasons past. Those memories are held in the decorations we use and the foods we make. Do you decorate the same way every year? What are some of your favorite traditions?

Well, its here!! A new season to enjoy. How will you adapt your décor to greet and enjoy this new time of year? I like to have a basket of blanket throws and hot chocolate on the ready! I add reds and silver to different spaces in my home. I change some of the wall art to photos of the season that I have taken in the past. Whatever you decide, consider what stays and incorporate the new season and ENJOY!
